Daily maintenance for the injection molding machine. Part 6.
A. Temperature affection on pressure oil
The temperature of the pressure oil should better be between 30-50 degrees during daily working. The following situation may happen when the temperature is too high.
1. The oxidization of the pressure oil may be speed up, and which cause the pressure oil’s going bad.
2. The thickness of the pressure oil may get low, and which causes the malfunction of the lubricant oil. And the oil pump may get damaged.
3. The oil seals may get hardened, and get malfunction.
B. Inspection and maintenance for the lubricant oil
The mold’s locking parts may get worn out after long time working and running, which causes a lot of friction, and the quality and performance may get affected then.
The following items should better be checked regularly:
1. Set a regular parameter for the lubricating time, better be 3-5 second in every ten shots.
2. Replace the lubricant oil, clean the oil pipes, clean the oil filter and the oil tank in every 4 months or 500000 shots.
3. In normal daily working, the pressure oil may gets lower and lower. The oil quantity in the oil tank should be checked every week.
4. Check the motor regularly to make sure it works well.
5. The lubricant and oil tank should be kept clean, and avoid the water mixing into the lubricant. If it happens, the mixed lubricant should be all removed and replace it by complete new lubricant.
6. All necessary parts must be lubricated by lubricant oil or butter every month or more.
7. Pressure oil can never be used for lubricant oil, because the thickness and stickiness are totally different. The machine may get damaged.
C. Mold locking parts checking and maintenance.
1. The moving parts and rotating parts may get worn out because of lacking of lubricant oil. Then, the moving parts and rotating parts should be lubricated regularly, and the screws & bolts must be checked and tightened regularly, then most of the mechanical problems can be avoided.
2. Check the pipe and tanks for the lubricant oil, the can not be blocked.
