Daily maintenance for the injection molding machine. Part 5.

Condenser inspection

 

After a long time running, there will be incrustant attached on the internal wall of the cooling tube, which will cause the lower efficiency of the heat transference, and then the pressure oil level will rise.

So, the condenser should be cleaned every 6 months.

Steps for dismantling and cleaning:

1. Make sure all pressure oil in the oil tank are removed completely.

2. Make sure the water inlet valve for the cooling water is closed.

3. Put a container below the connection part of the pressure oil and cooling water. Then the water and oil can be picked up when the oil pipe and water pipes are being dismantled.

4. Dismantle the cooling water pipe and the pressure oil pipe on the condenser.

5. Dismantle the cooling system.

6. Remove all pressure oil and cooling water inside the condenser.

7. Release the screws on the external cover of the condenser, and remove the external cover.

8. Take out the copper pipe and isolation plate.

9. Get a copper brush to brush clean the internal and external part of the copper pipe.
