Common faults and solutions for sleeve labeling machine. Part one.
A. Some labels can not get to the bottom or the set position of the bottles.
1) Too much water spot on the bottle surface. Normally, we can put a air blower dryer tunnel before the labeling machine to make sure the bottle surface can be dried before getting to the labeling machine.
2) Not enough plastic on the brushes. To put more plastic on the brush stick.
3) The label-down wheels position is too low on the label guide stick. If it is too low, then the label can not get down as a round label.
4) The label-down wheels are too right on the label guide stick.
B. The labels get jammed on the label guide stick very often.
1) The labels are not in correct size. If the diameter of the label is not correct, then it will get jammed.
2) Check the joint of the labels, and make sure it is connected well.
3) The space between drive wheels and the label guide stick is too limited. It can not be too tight, nor too loose.
4) Spring gets too far.
5) The cutting point is not correct.

C. Labels are not getting straight on the bottles.
1) The center of the bottle is not in straight with the center of the label guide stick.
2) The label guide stick is not fixed tight, and it shakes during working.
3) The photoelectric switch(the sensor which reads the coming of the bottles) is not fixed in the correct position.
D. Sometimes, more than one labels coming down for one bottle.
1) Label diameter is too bigger than the bottle’s diameter. Not suitable size.
2) Label-down wheels are too high. Then the labels will be brushed down and be cut by mistake.
E. Machine works not well after replacing the label rolls.
1) The label guide stick must be adjusted very well after replacing the labels rolls.
2) All wheels and sensors must be checked and rectified again.
3) Check if the labels diameter and thickness is the same as before. It affects a lot.
